Interior Decorator

One of the things i would like to do is interior decorating. I have always found it fun and interesting. I think that I would have a lot of fun figuring out how a room will look the best and what colors make everything fit right together.
Interior decoration is a fun but tough job. They work with paint, wallpaper, window coverings, ornaments, art, furniture, flooring, and lighting. You need to be able to see the way colors contrast with others and be able to decide how a room will work best with the lighting and the surroundings.
The earnings that an decorating consultant can vary, depending if you have a flat charge or if it can change with each client. In general, annual earnings for interior decorators range from about $20,000 to $40,000 a year, although some high end decorators can make as much as $80,000 a year. It also depends on the type of clients that you are dealing with. if your working in a higher established part of a city you would most likely be getting paid more than working with someone who has an average salary.
The education needs for this career can also vary with the type of decorating consultant you want to be. Decorators usually have at least a high school diploma.Many people enter the field without any formal training in interior decorating. Bachelor’s and associate degree programs in interior design are offered by colleges throughout the US.
The type of education or class to be an interior designer are also variable. The simple amateur decorator will take a class that will teach the basics like color theory, drawing, and space planning. Many professional decorators or consultants go through a more extensive training learning more than the basics.The usual process of becoming a registered consultant you will need to take the Voluntary certification is available through Certified Interior Decorators International. This association offers the Certified Interior Decorator (CID) designation to qualified decorators. Applicants need to complete an approved program in interior decorating and pass a certification exam.

Feb. 8, 2008-summary

Today i worked on the Excel testing program, i got almost all the way done with it. I have about 15 or 20 more questions left on the section. There is many things on the Excel section that i do not know. So i just get help with the reset with help section.

Feb. 7, 2008-summary

Today on the DDC testing i completeed the Word testing part of the section and then i started on the Excel testing and i got to about the half way point. Again there was some of the questions that i need to restart the question with help and then i could figure it out. Thats about all on the Excel part of the section.

Feb. 6, 2008-summary

Today we worked on the DDC testing i worked on the Word testing and i got to about the 40th question. I think i did well on these questions, but some of the questions i have no idea how to do them. But i restarted the question with the help program and then i was able to figure the questions.

Febuary 1, 2008-summary

Today i learned how to add pictures, sounds, and movies on my presentation.
i learned how to look up different pictures and things. I also learned how to change and add information to my presenataion. Thats basically all i learned today.

january 31, 2008-summary

Today on January 31, 2008, i learned how to change the setting on the presentation slide to where i can something on every slide with the master slide program. All you have to do to set it up for the master slide setting is hold down the shift key and click the button on the bottom of the screen that you would normally used to see the normal veiw of the presentation. This setting can change fonts, colors, sizes, add pictures, add sound and do all of this to all of the slides at one time. That is what i learned on January 31, 2008.

January 30, 2008-summary

Today on January 30, 2008 i learned how to do add sound effects to my presentation. I learned how to look up the exact sound i want and i learned how to add it to my presentation. I also learned how to change the setting of the sounds to where it will play a soon as the slide opens or when i first click on the slide. Thats what i learned in powerpoint presention today.

summary 1/23/08

Today, January 23,2008 i did three different presentation, so i learned several different things to change the look of the slides. i learned how to change the color schemes and how to change colors within those color schemes. i also learned how to change the template background to different things, like the ocean theme or the pixel theme.

on today, January 16, 2008 i learned how to do several things in the PowerPoint presentation program. also did many different things on the program, i changed the text on specific slides. i also change the print preview to handouts and then i changed the settings to see six slides to a page. that's basically the things i did today on the PowerPoint presentation program.

On today i learned how to change in formation on the PowerPoint presentation very quickly. i learned to change many things but that really all that i can remember on this set of slides. i also learned how to take a screen shot of the whole page of slides so that you don't have to see all the outside things.

On january 14, 2008 i learned how to change the settings on print preview. iI earned how to change the settings so that when you look at the preview you can see from 2-9 slides on one page. i also learned how to look at the different back grounds. thats pretty much all that i learned today.
